“I'll be honest, you surprised me with your ability to write this kind of crime at this level of dark — and it's not because I doubted your ability or the depth of your thought. The Pulling Threads series contains crime and intrigue, but it plays a distant second to the relationships, the romance, most particularly the character development, the language, and the dialog. You are a MASTER at those elements of storytelling. The crime has always just been a part of the story to me because all the characters are cut from the same FBI-FICA-cyber-huntress cloth.
